Labour mobility transfers

Paramedics registered with another regulating body in Canada may apply to register with CPPEI as a labour mobility transfer applicant.

Application process

To apply for CPPEI registration as a labour mobility transfer applicant:

Set up an account in the online registration system - HMS; select labour mobility transfer as your registration type
Pay the application fee for general registration
After receiving your payment, the Registrar will approve your HMS account - you will receive an email confirmation.
Complete all mandatory information in your profile (complete basic and contact information, complete and sign the legal statement)
Upload your certificate of insurance (under Miscellaneous in your profile)
Request a verification letter / letter of good standing from the regulatory body in your primary jurisdiction of practice to be sent directly to the CPPEI Registrar
After the Registrar reviews and approves your information and provided documents, you will be prompted to pay the registration fee

After the application steps are completed and your payment processed, you will receive a confirmation of your registration via email. Find your receipts and registration certificate in your HMS account under Payment history.

Registration or renewal: completing your application in the online registration system

In your member profile, make sure to fill out all mandatory information that applies to you and submit the required documents. Registration fee payments will not be accepted before the application is complete.

Once your information and documentation are complete, and reviewed and approved by the Registrar, the system will prompt you to pay the applicable registration fee.

It is your professional responsibility to keep your College member profile up to date—once registered, you can access your account at any time:

Update your contact information if it changes

Replace expired mandatory documents like certificate of professional liability insurance

Keep track of your professional currency hours

Keep track of your continuing education and competency activities
